The following application case clearly shows how crucial it is to select a high-performance saw band with the appropriate technical parameters to achieve process stability and maximum cutting performance.

MATERIAL:
1.7225 / 42CrMo4 / AISI 4140
(hardenable CrMo steel)
Dimension 1200 × 650 mm

 

👉 USE:
nanoflex® VTX coated - 80 x 1.6 mm 0.75 / 1.25 TPI

 

CUTTING PARAMETERS:
• cutting speed Vc = 27–30 m/min
• feed rate Vf = 3.6–4.2 mm/min

 

RESULT:
• high cutting performance under full load
• process-reliable operation
• reduced cost per cut

• reduced cutting forces through optimized tooth geometry
• improved heat dissipation and chip formation
